My name is Peter Burns and I am a San Francisco East Bay-based Reiki Master, Pranic Healer and Shamanic Practitioner. Other ways to describe me are as a Lightworker or Energy Worker and Healer, or an Energy Therapist and Intuitive Guidance Counselor or Spirit Coach.
I practice both Western Reiki and Traditional Japanese Reiki, and I integrate those with Pranic Healing. My hands hover three to six inches above your body, and I rarely need to touch you as I compassionately tap into the frequencies within your physical body and energetic field. I use crystals, tuning forks, essential oils, water, salt and intuition as tools to enhance and focus your session.
What is Reiki and Reiki Healing?
The word Reiki is made up of two Japanese words — rei (霊) which means “God’s wisdom or the Higher Power” and ki (氣), which is high-frequency universal life-force energy. So, Reiki is actually “spiritually guided life-force energy”. The terms qi or chi are the Chinese language equivalent.
This healing modality focuses on transmittal of ki to energy centers within the body to induce soothing relaxation, clearing, balance and harmony while filling with high-frequency energy on a cellular level. Reiki can be applied to a person, a pet, any organic or inorganic object and even situations.
A Reiki practitioner must be attuned by a Master, study and practice actively on self and others. Mastery comes from ongoing practice, study and application of knowledge.
What is Prana and Pranic Healing?
Prana is the Sanskrit word that also means life-force or vital energy.
It’s healing modality is a structured system that involves scanning the body’s chakras for unclean energy, or that which no longer serves our highest well-being, and applying specialized techniques to clear and increase the body’s natural healing process.
A Pranic Healer commits to an authorized progression of study of basic to advanced techniques toward certification.

Session 1 (1-hour): description, guidelines and setting of intentions with grounding meditation invoking protective Sacred Space and interaction with and permission from your Guides and Angels.
I go on a pre-journey about your personal unique journey as part of my preparation
Session 2 (1-hour): I guide you along your personal journey while in grounded protective sacred space. The Journey will be to any one of the Three Realms - the Lower Realm, the Middle Realm or the Upper Realm where we will likely encounter one of your spirit guides, a nature or animal spirit guide or an ancestor spirit. When encountered, any of these spirits will offer “medicine” or “gifts” in the form of unique insights or distinct energetic qualities to/for the journeyer.t
I journal about the experience and the “medicine” given during the experience.
Session 3 (1-hour): we discuss the experience and it’s lasting effects along with how to take in and apply the “medicine” or “gifts” given to you.
